Dress for Success
Valley View Center is proud to have in our center, Dress For Success, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advance low-income women’s economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention. Dress for Success responds to the needs of our community by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace.

How you can get involved

• Make a tax-deductible financial and/or clothing contribution
• Train to be a personal shopper and help women choose appropriate apparel for their interviews and work settings
• Speak at a Professional Women’s Group meeting to teach a skill that will assist our clients in moving up the career ladder
• Host a Professional Women’s Group meeting for a year by providing a speaker and refreshments one meeting a month
• Join our board
